Sad! 21 year old Cameroon International, Samuel Nlend Sacked by Egyptian Club after Testing HIV+

Cameroon international player,  Samuel Nlend has been sacked by Egyptian Premier League club, Al Ittihad after testing positive for HIV. The 21-year-old contract was terminated just four days after signing a three year contract with the club.

Despite announcing the signing, the 21-year-old’s blood test results came out positive for HIV, which in turn made the club terminate his contract.

Photos of the test results and an announcement were made by Ittihad’s media spokesperson who came out to confirm the news.

This is just so sad and unfortunate. Isn’t this discrimination?
