Igbinedion Sentenced to 6 Years Imprisonment for Money Laundering


Michael Igbinedion, brother of former Governor of Edo State, Lucky Igbinedion and his accomplice, Patrick Ebiogbodin have been found guilty for money laundering by an Edo court. 

 Mr Igbinedion was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment earlier today with an option of fine of one million naira for each of the three counts 79, 80 and 81, for which he was convicted, while Patrick Eboigbodin, his accomplice who was an aide to Lucky Igbinedion was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment without an option of fine.
