A Federal High Court Sitting in Lagos earlier today, March 16th has upturn the election of Ibinabo Fiberesima as the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
Justice James Tsoho, the presiding judge who gave the ruling said that the election that brought Ibinabo back to the office for a second term was against a subsisting court order obtained by actor Emeka Ike in 2013, restraining the AGN from conducting any elections.
Actor Emeka Ike dragged Ibinabo to court in July 2013, following some disputes with regards to the constitution of a National unity government in the guild.
Ibinabo Fiberesima is yet to react to this new development.
