The River state police command have confirmed that the building housing the All Progressive Congress in Okrika local government area , Rivers State was attacked earlier in the day.
The explosion which occurred at 3.14am destroyed the secretariat building, bringing down the walls, leaving three party members injured. They are currently on admission at an undisclosed hospital.
Speaking on the incident, the local government party chairman said that the attack was a deliberate provocation by the PDP to draw the APC to a battle that would destabilize the local government area.
