Business Moguls and Politicians raise N21 Billion for Goodluck's Presidential Campaign

In a country where an average citizen live on less than one dollar a day, 21 billion naria has been raised for mere frivolities.

There was a fundraising dinner yesterday night at the Old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa to support president Goodluck Jonathan's re-election campaigns and the total of 21 billion naria was realized.
The irony of the fundraising ceremony was that, 21 PDP Governors donated 50million naria each. These are meant to be public servant who should be using such funds in developing their various state. This is a shame to democracy. The greed for power in Nigeria in particular and Africa at large is so embarrassing.
