Nigeria Senate passes New Bill Prescribing Life Imprisonment for Rapist
The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Thursday passed a bill sponsored by Victor Ndoma Egba for an act to prohibit violence against persons and a provision strengthening sanctions against persons including life imprisonment for rapist.
