Change Begins with Me: Buhari to Reduce his 10 Presidential Jets

President Muhammadu Buhari has given an order for the reduction of the number of aircrafts in his presidential fleet.

Spokesperson to the president on Media & Publicity, Garba Shehu, made this known on Thursday September 8, 2016. In his words;
 “There is a govt committee already in place, working to reduce the number of aircraft in the presidential fleet.”
“Some aircraft will be boarded, some others returned to the Air Force for operations. The Change is here.”

This is step in the right direction considering the recession currently plaguing the nation. Many state governors are not paying salaries and tens of thousands of workers have been laid off, while many companies across sectors are folding up because they cannot get enough hard currency to import spare parts or raw materials.

I pray we experience a turnaround soonest
