19 Years After, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti's Daughter, Yeni Remembers Him

Today is Fela's remembrance day. The Afrobeat legend passed on exactly 19 years ago today, August 2nd 2016. His daughter, Yeni Anikulapo-Kuti, took to her IG page to remember him. She wrote; 

"Nineteen years ago our Icon father, leader and father of the Nation left the world stage. He lives in us forever and continues to guide and protect us. That is why Nigeria didn't go to war against all predictions. Rest in peace Fela. We miss you"
