Nigeria is indeed a lawless country! Yunusa Dahiru (alias Yunusa Yellow), who Bayelsa teenager, Ese Oruru, for months and standing trial at
the Federal High Court in Yenagoa has returned to his Kano home having met his
bail conditions.
Yunusa was on March 8, 2016 charged with abduction,
kidnapping, unlawful carnal knowledge and sexual exploitation and just after 4 months, he has already been granted bail. Its such a shame that a man who forcefully took the innocence of a mere 14 year old girl and made her a unplanned mother just walked away just like that.
This is totally unacceptable. I honestly do not know when we will get it right in this country.
