In Nigeria, there is nothing like Goodwill; always ask for collateral when lending cash! The much talked about debt case of kokomaster Dbanj had its first sitting on Monday, March 30th at the Multi-door Courthouse, Obalende Lagos and the Kokomaster was absent. He was however represented by a Junior lawyer in Dele Adeshina's chamber.
After deliberations by the legal representatives of the claimant, Henry Ojogho and the accused Dbanj, the presiding judge, Mrs Oyebanji adjourned the case till May 7th, 2015.
The debt accusation against Dbanj surfaced in November 2014 and the debt came through a loan of over 60 million Naira obtained by Dbanj. With the rate Dbanj career is dwindling, i doubt if he would be able to pay the debt. Henry should just rule it as bad debt. Truth is that these celebrities live fake lives; dem nor get shishi for account.
