After diverse failed attempt to capture Konduga in Borno state, Boko Haram sect in their numbers made another attempt to capture the town by engaging soldiers in a gun battle that lasted for over five hours.
The member of the deadly sect came yesterday morning around 7 am and tried to attack the military base using herds of cows and cars filled with improvised devices, but the military swiftly swung into action and kill about 73 of the boko haram insurgents.
Unfortunately, a soldier was lost in the battle. May the soul of the fallen hero rest in peace.
