The private home of the Governor of Bayelsa state, Seriake Dickson was engulfed by a mid day fire, yesterday, Thursday March 2015.
It took the quick intervention of men of the state fire service and security operatives guarding the residence to put out the fire around 1pm.
The cause of the fire is yet to be unknown but the governor was however away in Abuja when the fire incident occurred.
