Gov. Amaechi Declares Curfew in Port Harcourt as INEC Probes Alleged Irregularities in the State



The Governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi has declared a dusk to dawn curfew in Port Harcourt, the state capital after Independent National Electoral Commission announced the result of the Presidential and National Assembly elections in the state. The curfew will begin from 7pm and ends 6am daily and it will continue till further notice.

INEC has also set up a fact finding committee to ascertain the veracity of the claims and allegations of irregularities in Rivers state election.
