Us Missionary, Reverend Phyllis Sorter was kidnapped in Kogi State yesterday, February 22nd. A statement posted at her church website said she was abducted in Kogi, Central Nigeria.
The US embassy has been notified ad the State Department and the FBI are working with local authorities to find and rescue her.
The kidnappers came into the school premises shooting sporadically to scare away people before taking the hostage away into the bush.
