Muna Obiekwe's Sister Opens Up; His 2 Kidney Failed Before Scheduled Transplant

In an interview with Inside Nollywood during Muna's burial ceremony on February 3rd, his step sister, chinwe Obiekwe said Muna's diagnosis and eventual death happened so fast.
Chinwe said Muna's Kidney problem was diagnosed last year October. According to her, it was not a normal kidney failure, it was prompted by High BP. She went further to say that her uncle were planning to come to Nigeria to do the transplant; unfortunately, his two kidney failed and he died before the scheduled day.


Asked what triggered the High BP;She said

 "Anyone can have high BP as a result of stress. It doesn't mean that family problem prompt high blood pressure".

On why Muna didn't let his colleague know he was sick and needed help. Her response was;

"Muna was a private person and from a home and his family had plans to carry out his transplant. She claims that Muna need not go to the internet because he had a family who could handle his problems. She said if they were stranded, they would have called for help"

In Conclusion, she said;

"I am going to say this to anyone who says Muna didn't open up that he was sick; I am going to say this thing- Fuck them! Now that he is dead, those people that said, assuming he said he was sick, they would have helped; did they come to contribute fir the burial? Did they come to check on the family? They did not! We tried to handle the situation but God knows best".
