In June 2014, BankyW wrote an emotional poem he tagged "Verse to the Girl Child". According to him, the poem was inspired by a quote from UN Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon. The poem saw Banky W lamenting on how girls were being enslaved, raped and oppressed. In his conclusion, he said;
"There is nothing more powerful than a girl with a book"When I saw the last phrase of the poem, I was even more convinced that the poem was in Banky's own words but what most people that read the 'so called' poem didn't realize was that Mr Capable was pointing a finger at others while his four fingers pointed back at him. He was 'almost' as guilty as those he was accusing.
The music star who is always quick to say he has been flirting with music all his life, has always shrouded the real deal in secrecy which is quite evident in his interviews.
When it comes to questions about his love life in interviews, the Industrial Engineering graduate always have just an answer for all interviewers which is; I am single' and you all know the favourite line of players, need I say more?
I honestly do not have a problem with any man that decides to date a hundred women, if he is capable, why not? However why I have an issue with Mr Capable, is his choice of girls. He prefers young teenagers, specifically very young undergraduates; sixteen, seventeen and in rare cases eighteen. Young intelligent ones that were opportune to get into the university quite early.
Most of these teenagers are gullible. He sweet-talk them and most of them end of falling in love with him and after the show, comes the bombshell and they are heartbroken; some take a while to heal and it normally do affect their studies and considering his taste and preferences as he normally goes for those Nigerian young girls studying abroad, that's the hard earned money of some parents going down the drain.
The last time I checked, a girl is officially an adult at the age of eighteen, therefore dating a sixteen or seventeen year old is unacceptable and it doesn't differentiate you from those pedophiles abusing and oppressing the girl child. I know you might say the word 'pedophile' is quite extreme but the truth is what it is, there is no need painting it to be something it isn't.
One of Mr Wellington victim was so bitter and quite emotional when she was explaining her ordeal in the hands of lover boy Banky. In her words;
"Whilst I was holidaying in Nigeria (2nd semester long break), I met Banky, he was all over me. I thought he was in love with me. After some time, I gave in. The day he had his way with me, while I was leaving, he said; 'You know your parents paid a lot of money for your studies READ YOUR BOOK O'.After that day, he never called, he doesn't even pick my calls".The bolded takes us back to the last phrase of his poem where he said that there is nothing more powerful than a girl with a book. Why the same man is indirectly taking 'book' away from vulnerable young teenagers is one mystery I am trying to unravel? What Kind of satisfaction does he achieve while sabotaging the future of these young fragile hearts? Why meet these girls intelligent and leave the struggling with their studies as a result of the emotional trauma inflicted on them by Mr Poet?
Dear Banky, there comes a time when a player hangs his boot and take off his Jersey. I think its high time you consider taking off that Jersey. Try and get a decent lady like your best friend Tunde Demerun and save these teens and by extension their parents from these unnecessary emotional traumas or better still change the game, there are so many matured ladies that are willing and ready to play the 'no strings attached' game with you, Mr Capable.
A word is enough for the wise.
