The 20 year old current African Female Footballer of the year, Asisat Oshoala, this afternoon January 23rd signed on to the Liverpool Female football club.
Asisat is the first African female player to compete in the women's super league. Her coach Matt Beard said that they beat a lot of top American and European clubs to Asisat's signature and that Asisat is one of the best young player in the world.
The female star was quite delighted to join Liverpool as she said she had always looked forward to being a professional footballer since she started her career.
