Barcelona and Brazil striker, Neymar Jnr has lent his voice to the controversy surrounding that incident that saw Ronaldo assaulting two players in the La Liga match between Real Madrid and Cordoba on Saturday, January 24th 2015.

Speaking about the issue at a press conference in Spain, the Brazilian said 'Those of us playing as forwards are exposed to provocations and intimidation and sometimes you lose your nerve. It is clear we cannot do that under any circumstances. He must be punished because of the aggression'
Meanwhile despite Ronaldo;s apology for his violent attack on the two opposing players, the Portugal captain has been handed a 3-match ban that will see him miss his club's clashes against Real Sociedad, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla.
